Prophecy is Falling into Place19 minute read
This is from my sermon collection. I sometimes fill in at my church and am able to teach our congregation. In this category of Sermon Collection, I share my sermon outline with you and possibly a video version as well.
If you have been paying attention to the world for the last 2 years, you can see our world has changed.
Prophecy Unfolding
Prophecy has been unfolding before our eyes………. especially the last 2 years.
Every day the headlines show us how close we are to that great day of the Lord.
So, I want to do a prophecy update on what is happening in the world today.
Follow along in your bibles with me in 1 Thessalonians chapter 5
READ 1 Thessalonians 5:1-3
1 But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.
2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.
3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
The Day of the Lord with come like birth pains.
Slowly at first, but all of a sudden, the pains get closer and closer until the water breaks.
Once that happens, that is it. It’s time. It’s too late to turn back and prepare.
-We prepare for the baby before the water breaks.
READ Matthew 24:6-8
6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
Let’s go over some of the birth pains we are seeing today.
The Decline of America and the Rush to Globalism –
Satan has been working hard for centuries to get a one-world government in place.
-Today, we see it as a possible reality.
America’s position as the World Leader and Peacekeeper is quickly coming to an end.
-We are losing to countries like China, Russia and somehow, the middle east
-recent debacles in the middle east prove we are not in control of the situation.
in my humble opinion, “I don’t believe America is coming back, I believe Jesus is coming back”.
-But think about it.
In order for the one-world government to exist, America as we know it can not.
The World Economic Forum calls it the “Great Reset”
-It is no secret. There is a well-documented plan to bring the world under one government.
-The WEF will be meeting early 2022 to discuss the next steps and what needs to take place.
What are their Goals?
This is from their website.
There is an urgent need for global stakeholders to cooperate in simultaneously managing the direct consequences of the COVID-19 crisis. To improve the state of the world, the World Economic Forum is starting The Great Reset initiative.
-”The Opportunity”
As we enter a unique window of opportunity to shape the recovery, this initiative will offer insights to help inform all those determining the future state of global relations, the direction of national economies, the priorities of societies, the nature of business models and the management of a global commons.

The level of cooperation and ambition this implies is unprecedented. But it is not some impossible dream. In fact, one silver lining of the pandemic is that it has shown how quickly we can make radical changes to our lifestyles. Almost instantly, the crisis forced businesses and individuals to abandon practices long claimed to be essential, from frequent air travel to working in an office.
Likewise, populations have overwhelmingly shown a willingness to make sacrifices for the sake of health-care and other essential workers and vulnerable populations, such as the elderly.
Clearly, the will to build a better society does exist. We must use it to secure the Great Reset that we so badly need.
-In other words, it is time to take advantage of the good people, that were just trying to do the right thing.
-And I am sure I could have come up here with 100’s of examples.
-When you give them an inch, they take a mile.
-we gave them compliance through lockdowns and social distancing and masks….
-now they are taking the world.
-Here are 8 predictions they made back in 2016 (then we will move on)
- You will own nothing and be happy
- The US will not be the world superpower
- You will eat much less meat.
- 1 timothy 4:3 “forbidding to marry & commanding to abstain from meat”
- Polluters will have to pay to emit carbon dioxide
-We emit carbon dioxide…..
We are living in a world where fear is being used to control the people.
-God tells us to Fear Not for a reason.
-Satan needs us to fear in order to be playdoh in his hands
Creation is Groaning
Romans 8:22
“For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.”
In the last 2 years, we have seen more news on Earthquakes, Hurricanes, Fires and so on.
It was reported that the summer of 2021 was the hottest summer in recorded history.
2021 is a record breaking year for Major Earthquakes.
-in 1921, 6 major earthquakes were reported globally in the first 65 days
-Last year, there were 24
-This year, there were 47
-Iceland was hit by more than 18,000 earthquakes in a week including a magnitude 7.3 earthquake, a magnitude 7.4 earthquake, and a magnitude 8.1 earthquake. This was back in april
-There was a recent scare at La Palma island, off the coast of Spain, registering hundreds of earthquakes over a magnitude of 2 in the span of 2 weeks back in September.
-This resulted in a volcanic eruption that is still happening, as we speak.
With thousands of earthquakes registered in the past month.
Is the earth not groaning?
–Genesis 8:22 (here is some encouragement)
“While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.” < that is a promise
–That is why I don’t fear global warming, and quite frankly, don’t believe it.
–We do have the responsibility to care for the planet and what God has created for us. But, we DO NOT have the power to destroy it. ONLY God has that power.
False prophets and Lawlessness
Matthew 24:12
10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
The spirit of anti-christ is stronger than it has ever been.
-we know him as the man of lawlessness
-Lawlessness is not necessarily the breaking of earthly law, but God’s law.
-it says “iniquity” = wickedness
-Today, we see evil is considered good and good considered evil.
-Abortion, LGBT, Fornication, open relationships and so forth.
-it is ALL considered normal and should be celebrated
2 Timothy 3:1-7
1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
-We don’t have time to go over all of those, but use your imagination.
-Lovers of selves, proud, having a form of godliness but denying the power thereof.
-speaking of which let’s talk about false prophets.
-we call them wolves in sheep’s clothing.
Acts 20:29
For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.
-it was a problem then and is still a problem now.
-Churches today have become woke.
Especially since the pandemic, churches are teaching race theory, social justice and environmentalism.
2 Timothy 4:2-4
2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.
3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
-we are given a commandment in verse 2, and then a warning in verses 3 and 4
Verse 4 mentions Fables, and it reminds me of this…
The world now has what is called the New Apolstolic Reformation (NAR)
-This is a denomination of ‘christians’ ‘ that are all about experience over the bible.
-new revelations
-signs and wonders over sound doctrine
-They have apostles and prophets
-if you hear a church leader call himself an Apostle, RUN
-to be an apostle, you must be called by Jesus, served in his ministry, and witnessed his resurrection
-Members believe that they can bring heaven to earth. No rapture.
Bill Johnson – “What exists in heaven is supposed to exist on earth. That is Gods will. (that is butchering scripture)
1 Timothy 4:1-2 (teaching of demons) bethel
1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
3 Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.
4 For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:
5 For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.
The only way we can make sense of all the madness we see around us is Romans 1. Read the chapter to get the full context, but the point is, God gave them up.
He gave them up to what they wanted. To uncleanness, afflictions, corruption, and to a reprobate mind.
-man desired these things, so God got to a point were he let them have it.
Psalm 2:1-4
1 Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?
2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his anointed, saying,
3 Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.
4 He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.
You ever see someone do something so stupid, you just had to laugh?
That’s God right here.
The kings of this world plot against the Lord and his anointed.
He is not worried. He laughs at what he sees going on behind these closed doors.
part 2 of the sermon
Matthew 24:37-39
37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
-We are told that the coming of the day of the Lord is like it was in the days of Noah.
-Life will be going on as normal. Most people will not be ready for that day, therefore will not be expecting it.
-This lines up with 1 Thessilonians 5:1-3.
-The day of the lord will come as a thief in the night.
( we will get back to 1 Thessalonians at the end)
But the bible tells us what to look out for in the last days.
God doesn’t give us prophecy to scare us, but to prove that he is God.
Recap – We talked about Globalism and the Fall of America. (the one world order)
We mentioned how creation is groaning. (earthquakes, fires and so on)
And we talked about false profits and lawlessness.
Technology and Artificial Intelligence
When we think about the one-world government and the reign of the Antichrist, we also need to think about technology and how it plays a role in it all.
Technology has changed the world in such a short amount of time.
Daniel 12: 4
But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
-“many shall run to and fro” – This makes me think of Modern travel
-Airports have made it possible to go anywhere anytime.
–”and knowledge shall be increased” – This reminds me of Google. (internet)
-We know more than we have ever known.
-science, medicine, world events…. Ourselves…. Each other…
Technology is what allowed all of that, and it has increased significantly in the last generation.
When you think about the one-world government and how it will work, you come to realize the reign of the anti-christ will not work without it.
-there needs to be sophisticated technology in place in order for it to run efficiently.
We know in prophecy tells us there will be a cashless society and a mark that will be required in order to buy and sell.
But what does that look like?
Well today we have
- AI – Computers intelligently keeping track of your activity, physical and cyber. Able to make decisions and use logic.
- We are currently studying Quantum computing.
- 100 million times faster than a traditional computer
- That is because is uses physics instead of on/off
- We are currently studying Quantum computing.
- the internet and 5G- This is how we stay connected to the system.
- 5G is what will allow us to stay updated in the system in near-real speed time.
- Satellites and GPS – No internet? Live in a Rural area? No Problem. We now have satellites. And today Starlink.
- Blockchain (digital currency) – Cross-border payments are difficult and expensive with cash in the world. Blockchain solves that. It’s cheap, fast and 100% digital which makes it ideal for tracking.
- work for currency.
- A cryptocurrency that tracked your work and paid accordingly.
- It was difficult for accurate tracking.
- One way to accurately track you would be through a project called Neralink.
- work for currency.
All of these work in concert with one another
Genesis 11:1-4
1 And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech.
2 And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there.
3 And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them thoroughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for morter.
4 And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.
-
- You see here the earth was ONE.
- The people wanted to make a name for themselves.
- (a reputation, fame, glory)
- They also knew God’s commandment and wanted to ignore it.
- Genesis 9:7
7 And you, be ye fruitful, and multiply; bring forth abundantly in the earth, and multiply therein.
-
-
- They were told to multiply and go do so into the earth.
-
We see that today. So many people want to be one with the world and make a name for themselves while ignoring God.
-you can see that mentality through the coming of the one-world government.
Let’s continue in Genesis 11:5-9
5 And the Lord came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded.
6 And the Lord said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.
7 Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech.
8 So the Lord scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city.
9 Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the Lord did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the Lord scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.
-So because they were ONE, and plotted to do this against the Lord, God punished them and forced them to scatter.
Don’t we see, through the internet and modern travel, we are becoming as ONE?
-We essentially have one language and are plotting against God.
Verse 6
”now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do”
They were going to accomplish this if God did not intervene.
God knows exactly what we are capable of.
-and I see the world with the Tower of Babel mentality today.
We are trying to reach Godlike stature like they were.
The Giant
And then we have the Giant.
The 10 stories movable statue coming to a city near you.
It is a statue meant to celebrate Humanism. Idealize yourself.
It can take on the image of any person. Sound familiar?
-We are told in Revelation that people will worship an image of the beast or be beheaded.
-Just like king Nebacanezzar had an image to bow before, so will the antichrist.
We don’t know what this image is, but I can tell you, the giant is what I would pick
The Hatred of Christians and Jews
Finally, the Hatred of Christians and Jews
We see the hatred rising at a fast pace, It should come to no surprise.
2 Timothy 3:12 – Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
John 15:18-19 – If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. (19) If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.
Christians are under attack around the world.
-Christians here in America see an uptick in hateful speech and some acts of violence in the past few years. But so far, we are far from persecuted.
-Christians around the world, even today, are being beheaded, murdered, beaten and houses burned to the ground simply because of their faith.
Here are some headlines just from the past week.
- Christians under attack in Asia
- India’s Christians living in fear as claims of ‘forced conversions’ swirl
- Fulani Hersdman Kill 6 Christian Farmers, 3 more injured during attacks against communities in Nigeria
- With mass murders of Christians and persecutions of other religious minorities, should Nigeria be redesignated a Country of Particular Concern?
And there were many more.
Jews are under attack
-It is only natural, that the world world hate the people God has chosen.
And it is not just in the middle east.
Here is an except from an NPR article back in May.
From California to New York, a wave of antisemitic attacks has broken out in communities over the last two weeks, leaving officials in law enforcement and government scrambling to confront the domestic ripple effects of the recent outbreak in violence between Israel and Hamas.
The violence and abhorrent rhetoric has come both in person and online. The Anti-Defamation League said that in the week after the fighting erupted, it received 193 reports of possible antisemitic violence, up from 131 a week earlier. On Twitter, the group said, it found more than 17,000 tweets using variations of the phrase “Hitler was right” between May 7 and 14. *
Israel under attack
-Isreal is under constant attack and engaged in what seems to be a 24/7 war with the countries that surround it.
-Yet somehow, they have become a world superpower in the matter of a generation.
-fig tree?
Conclusion
Let’s end on a good note.
READ 1Thessalonians 5:4-11
4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.
5 Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.
6 Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.
7 For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.
8 But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.
9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,
10 Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.
11 Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.
-We are NOT in darkness, the bible says. We are children of light.
-This means, the rapture will NOT take us by surprise like it will the rest of the world.
-Do we know when the day and hour is? NO.
But that doesn’t mean we can’t be ready.
-if a thief were to tell you that he was coming to rob your house within the next week, would you sleep and go unprepared? Of course not!
That is what Paul is talking about here. The Lord will not take us by surprise.
Verse 11 – Comfort yourselves together and edify one another.
-This passage should be an encouragement, not a discouragement. Just like the rest of prophecy.
